State Rep. John Stefanski spoke to the Crowley City Council Monday night about the nearly $4.2 million he helped bring to the parish during the last year. Stefanski is not seeking re-election to the House District 42 seat this year, deciding instead to seek the office of attorney general.
CROWLEY - When he was first elected to the state House of Representatives in 2017, John Stefanski’s goal was to fight for resources in his home parish of Acadia.
CROWLEY – All eight seats on the Acadia Parish Police Jury are being contested in the Oct. 14 elections. A total of 22 candidates, including five incumbents, are hoping to fill those seats.
CROWLEY – Officially kicking off the 2023 International Rice Festival “season,” 30 vehicles set off on a 250-plus mile trek Saturday morning in the 86th IRF Rice Poker Run.
CROWLEY - An early afternoon storm tore through Crowley Friday afternoon, damaging buildings and trees but resulting in no serious injuries.
