The Shop Rite Millers will begin play in the American Legion State Tournament this afternoon with a pair of games at 4 and 7 p.m. at Westminster Christian Academy in Opelousas. Coaches sound off on Fields’ request to squash fall sports

The proposal by Louisiana Democratic Senator Cleo Fields to shut down prep sports until December has raised the eyebrows of coaches across the state.
And that includes Acadia Parish.

RAYNE - The 2020 baseball/softball summer league of the Rayne Recreation Department began play on Monday, July 6, as announced by Rec Director Dwayne Derise.
