Victoria Marie Callahan, the daughter of Michael Callahan and Angela Callahan, was crowned the 82nd International Rice Festival Queen Saturday morning.

Although the weather called for a change of venue from the Supreme Rice Soundstage to the Rice Theatre, there was a large crowd on hand for the International Rice Festival Queen’s Pageant.

Lady Wolves seek 3-III district volleyball title

RAYNE - With a 7-1 district slate heading into their last week of district play, the Lady Wolves are in search of a possible district title before entering post-seaosn play.
