LSU moves up in polls after win over Texas

After a big victory over No. 9 ranked Texas Saturday night, the LSU Tigers have now moved up in both national polls.
The Tigers are now ranked No. 4 in the AP Poll and No. 5 in the Amway Coaches Poll.
Clemson remains at No. 1 in both polls. Alabama and Georgia come in at No. 2 and No. 3. LSU jumped two spots to No. 4 in the AP Poll, giving the SEC three of the top four spots.
The last conference to hold three of the top four spots in the AP Poll was the SEC in Nov. 2014 when Mississippi St. was No. 1, Auburn was third and Alabama was fourth.
LSU sits just outside the top four at No. 5 in the Coaches Poll behind No. 4 Oklahoma.
