High school football season officially kicks off this week with all of the Acadia Parish teams taking part in annual jamborees beginning on Thursday.

LAFAYETTE - Notre Dame flipped the script on the St. Thomas More Cougars Thursday in the two parochial powerhouses’ annual scrimmage.

Whoever it was obviously didn’t attend the one between Rayne High and Iota Thursday at Wolf Stadium.
