Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 26, at 2 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Willa Spell, 84, who passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at 4:10 p.m. at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Fr. Jason Vidrine, pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley, will be officiating for the services.
Burial will be held in Morse.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, May 26, at 9:30 until time of services in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis LeBlanc of Crowley and Cynthia and husband Greg Arceneaux of Crowley; two sons, Charles LeBlanc Jr. and Gerald LeBlanc, both of Crowley; two sisters, Lynn Duggan Hundley and husband Kelly of Crowley, and Shirley Abshire of Gueydan; one brother, Leroy and wife Joyce Chiasson of Pearland, Texas; six grandchildren, Andrew LeBlanc, Jason LeBlanc, Justin LeBlanc, Tylor LeBlanc, Whitney Kidder and Kelsey Kidder; eight great-grandchildren, Alyssia, Grayson, Chloe, Brycelon, Brentlon, Gabriel, Kaleb, Mallory; and two great-great-grandsons, Jacob and Rhett.
Ms. Spell was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Spell; one daughter, Stephanie Kidder; her parents, Whitney and Olidia Chiasson; and two brothers, Daniel and Michael Chiasson.
