Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser was the guest speaker for the Thursday morning meeting of the Rotary Club of Rayne. The lieutenant governor talked about the great strides the state has taken in the area of tourism since the COVID-19 pandemic, including the entry of floats in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in New York and, more recently, the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California. Rotarians and dignitaries from across the parish were in attendance for the meeting, held in the Post 77 American Legion Home.
