Staff of the Acadia Parish Library gathered to celebrate the recent retirement of Bernadette Sarver, known as “Ms. Bernie.” Ms. Bernie was the Acadia Parish Library’s children’s librarian for more than 28 years, and she ran the Summer Reading program and Story Hour. She also visited schools and led the ‘tree tour’ for the Christmas Around the World display for many years. Pictured, from left, at the celebration, were Isalee Malbrough, Meghan Quibodeaux, Claire Doré, Christine Daigle, Bernie Sarver, Gayle Guillot, Jenna Benoit, and Lacey Webster.
