Contractor fraud charged
JENNINGS - An Acadia Parish man has been arrested and charged with contractor fraud.

Owners of the warehouse in the 500 block of South Parkerson Avenue told the city council’s Public Safety Committee Wednesday night that efforts are underway to have the building rehabilitated within the coming weeks. A security fence has been erected around the open area of the building and loose items have been secured.

CROWLEY – Smoke testing of the city’s sewerage collection lines will be starting soon.

Acadia Parish 'Students of the Year' recognized
CROWLEY - Taking center stage during Monday’s regular meeting of the Acadia Parish School Board was the acknowledgment of the 2021-2022 Students of the Year.
