Hurricane Delta made landfall Friday afternoon and swept through Crowley and Acadia Parish with hurricane force gusts early Saturday morning. A tree was blown into the front of Kelly and Dr. Michelle Owen’s home on East Fifth Street.

Back-to-back hurricanes in a span of six weeks left parts of Louisiana blanketed this past weekend with tarpaulins, mangled metal and downed power lines.
