The National Association of University Women helped to coordinate the grand opening of Neesie’s Sweet Dough Pies in its new location, presenting a plaque to owner Denise Guillory “in recognition of your hard work, service, passion and outstanding committment to the Crowley community.” On hand for the ceremonies were, from left, Shelda Kelso, Mary Morrison, Myrtle Cain, Sonjataina Wilridge, Jacquette Guidry, Denise Guillory (owner), Dr. Ezora J. Proctor, Shonnetta Greene, Dr. Debira Broussard, Cassandra Mouton and Betty Gums. Dr. Proctor and Jacquette Guidry were co-chairpersons.
