Rayne teenager Norris Guidry, left, was made an honorary member of the “50 Yard Challenge” last week for all of the time and energy he has donated cutting lawns for local elderly and disabled persons for free. Rodney Smith Jr., right, who runs the non-profit organization Raising Men and Women Lawn Care Service, which sponsors the challenge, drove from Alabama to meet Guidry and present him with brand-new lawn care equipment.
