Narcotics arrests announced

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced a number of recent drug-related arrests in the parish.
Sheriff K.P. Gibson said deputies are continuing efforts to fight the illegal drug trade in the parish.
Arrested were:
• Carl Brown, 24, of Jennings: possession of ecstacy, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, firearm in the presence of controlled dangerous substance, controlled dangerous substance in a drug-free zone
• Raymond Dupont, 47, of Jennings: possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia
• Curtis Foreman, 42, of Crowley: distribution of methamphetamine
• Leonard Handy, 25, of Crowley: distribution of synthetic marijuana
• Misty LeMaire, 32, of Crowley: distribution of suboxone
• Rodney Oliver, 52, of Mermentau: possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of lorazepam, firearm in the presence of controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
• Marquires Robinson, 24, of Crowley: distribution of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana
