Krewe of Town Revelers announces 2018 ball theme
The Krewe of Town Revelers is once again preparing for the party of the year and recently held its theme announcement celebration.
With the theme “CIMMER Studios: Lights, Camera Adventure,” the 2018 celebration will feature high energy and excitement as the audience views adventure movies in the making.
Ask any proud member of the Crowley Town Club and they will tell you that the Krewe of Town Revelers annual Carnival Ball is a production unlike any other, often taking guests through an amazing and imaginative journey.
A large crowd attended the family-oriented announcement event and enjoyed games and socializing as they discussed plans for the upcoming Mardi Gras season.
The “Blockbuster Buffet” menu followed the theme and featured selections of shrimp and corn bisque; Mrs. Glenda’s Salad Bar with spicy pecans, Gorgonzola cheese and cane syrup herb vinaigrette; andouille stuffed loin of pork; Cajun fried shrimp; baked tiliapia in lemon butter sauce; cornbread dressing; smashed Yukon Gold sweet potatoes; grilled asparagus; sautéed fresh veggies; praline cheesecake and other assorted desserts.
The younger guests enjoyed fried chicken tenders, french fries, cheese sticks and corn dogs.
The award-worthy Carnival Ball will be held Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at 7 p.m. at the Rice Festival Building in Crowley.
