A planning meeting of the Carron Cemetery Family Alliance (CCFA) was held at the Eunice Depot Museum on Thursday, March 21. Attending were, seated from left, Don Fuselier, Diane Martel Bihm, CCFA treasurer; and, standing from left, Margrett McGee Fels, administrator with Norma Zeigler (Baton Rouge). Carron Cemetery straddles Acadia and St. Landry parishes and is the resting place of five soldiers who served during The War Between the States. Founded 14 years ago, the CCFA is an all-volunteer family group tasked with the maintenance and preservation of the historical Carron Cemetery.
