A Rayne man has been arrested for allegedly causing an automobile accident while trying to kill himself and other occupants of the vehicle, according to Rayne Police Chief Carroll J. Stelly.
At the request of the Community and Economic Development Committee, the city of Crowley will observe April as Fair Housing Month
The man charged in a Mardi Gras shooting incident in Rayne was out on bond on a murder charge at the time of the incident.
