Council allocates Mardi Gras funds

An arrest has been made in the burglary at Double Action that occurred on Dec. 23.
The ASSIST Agency has received a grant to help low-income Acadia Parish residents who are struggling financially and need help with their rent, mortgage and/or utilities.
Police were called to the scene of a school bus crash in Rayne Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of American Legion Drive and Third Street.
An historic journey will begin this weekend as three Acadiana residents take the first step toward possible sainthood in the Catholic Church.
