Members of the Crowley Town Club and their guests enjoyed an exciting evening as the theme for the 2017 Mardi Gras Ball was announced recently.
The Thursday, Sept. 29, Theme Announcement Party, chaired by Sandy Shuff and Jessica Guillot, showcased iconic features of metropolitan New York. The dining tables were topped with glittered skyline and apple centerpieces, and guests took photos with Broadway playbill signs, the Statue of Liberty and a NYC cityscape.
The family event also featured “Coney Island Carnival,” a game and activity area for children.
Club members and their guests selected from featured theme-named menu items that included “The Brooklyn Bridge” appetizer, “Queen’s Filet,” “Bronx Burger,” “Manhattan Salad,” and “Big Apple Pie.”
Director Laurie Suire, along with Assistant Director Sandi Dore’, unveiled the 2017 Ball theme and logo, “Big City Cimmer.”
“We are excited to celebrate one of the most beloved cities in the world. In true Cimmer-style, with the talent of our Krewe of Town Revelers and our club, the 2017 Carnival Ball will capture the energy and pulse of New York City.”
The Krewe of Town Revelers Carnival Ball will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017. Tickets will go on sale on Jan. 11.
