Krewe de les Dames holds fourth annual ‘Ladies Tea’
Members of the Crowley Town Club’s Krewe de les Dames gathered for their fourth annual “Ladies Tea” at the home of Patti Brammer on Sunday, Oct. 9.
The women enjoyed finger sandwiches and fruit, along with assorted cheeses and desserts.
In keeping with the tradition of old-fashioned teas, those in attendance paired their outfits with fashionable hats and headpieces. The award for the most original hat went to Christine Leleux, while the “People’s Choice” award for favorite hat went to Lisa Dupuis.
Any woman who has ever participated as a maid in the Krewe of Town Revelers Mardi Gras Ball in any year is eligible for membership in the Krewe de les Dames and can contact any officer or member for information.
