The Crowley Gents set the tone from the start Thursday with a flurry of dunks and easily cruised past former district rival Port Barre, 51-30, in their season opener at the CHS Gym.
On a soggy Baker High football field, the Iota Bulldogs’ season came to an end due to a Baker defense that held the Bulldogs to 158 total yards and Buffalo running back Desmond Windon’s 126 yards.<
