Police have officially released the name of the man killed in a shooting here Sunday afternoon.
According to Police Chief Jimmy Broussard, Brydon “B.K.” Gray, 26, died after being shot multiple times outside a residence in the 700 block of Leslie Amos Street around 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Police have not named a suspect in the shooting, however, Broussard said investigators “are following several leads in reference to identifying a person of interest.”

Broussard is asking anyone with any information concerning the shooting to contact either the Crowley Police Investigations Division at 788-4114 or Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish at 789-TIPS (789-8477).
“We need our community’s help to bring this person to justice and to bring closure to the family,” the chief said.
