Acadia Parish School Board voted Thursday night to delay the start date of public schools until Sept. 8.
A special meeting of the Acadia Parish School Board will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday to discuss calendar changes for the 2020-2021 school year.
During Monday’ night’s committee meetings for the Acadia Parish School Board, Superintendent Scott Richard unveiled initial plans for a “student division” plan when school reopen.
The Acadia Parish School Board adopted an $88.8 million operating budget for the 2020-2021 year.
