In order for the Iota Bulldogs to pull off a monumental upset of District 5-3A leader Crowley Friday, sharp shooting guard Colby Wilson would have to have a big night.
The Midland Lady Rebels weren’t exactly setting the world on fire Tuesday in their pivotal road matchup with District 6-B foe Hathaway.
With Madeline Gatte sidelined in the second half with a shoulder injury, the Iota Lady Bulldogs were in definite need of a spark Tuesday.
That spark came in the form of Madison Oliver.
The streak is over.
And so is the notion that the Crowley High Gents are unbeatable.
The Notre Dame tennis team took on the Iota Bulldogs in their opening match of the season last week.
