The Iota Lady Bulldogs erupted for eight runs in the first inning and never looked back in a 14-4 thumping on Iowa Monday in the opening round of the Class 3A playoffs.
Trailing 7-3 after 5 1/3 innings, Iota’s 21-game winning streak was in serious jeopardy Monday.
The Crowley Ladies got it done in the circle and at the plate Monday in their 15-0 Class 3A bi-district playoff victory against No. 24 seed Madison Prep.
