BATON ROUGE – LSU opens its second season under head coach Brian Kelly ranked No. 5 in the nation as the preseason AFCA Coaches Poll was released on Monday.
Under the direction of defensive coach Dannie Harmon (middle of action), members of the Rayne High’s defenders of the 2023 Wolves Football Team work on defensive plays early Tuesday morning during the summer workouts held on campus as they prepare for the upcoming season. The Wolves are readying for a home scrimmage on Thursday, Aug. 17, when they will host Iota High School, followed by the annual Acadia-Vermilion Jamboree on Friday, Aug. 25, at North Vermilion when they take on the hosts. RAYNE - Make plans to attend the 2nd Annual Charles Trahan Memorial Boxing Event this weekend on Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Rayne Civic Center.
Rayne High School football season and jamboree tickets can be purchased in the school’s front office as announced by RHS Head Coach Kaine Guidry.
