After a disappointing 2020 prep football season that saw Crowley High go winless (0-7), the Gents are hoping to rebound this fall.
Doing so, however, may be a bit challenging.
There were no tears shed Wednesday by the Crowley Millers, only smiles.
And why not?
Post 15 hurler Dominic Thibodeaux fires a pitch to the plate Tuesday during the Millers’ 5-3 victory over Retif Oil. Thibodeaux allowed five hits and struck out seven in earning the victory.
The Crowley Millers are quickly earning the moniker of “cardiac kids” at the American Legion State Baseball Tournament.
And with good reason.
