VILLE PLATTE – The Crowley Ladies moved up three spots in the Division III power ratings to No. 24 with a 15-4 thrashing of Ville Plate on Wednesday.
CROWLEY – For the second night in a row, the Crowley Gents got a stellar effort on the mound and they had a solid night at the plate in staving off elimination in the District 5-3A tournament.
OPELOUSAS – The Crowley Ladies plated 11 runs in the first inning and never looked back in a 19-0 thumping of Opelousas Tuesday.
CROWLEY – Sam Hernandez got the start in Crowley High’s elimination game of the District 5-3A tournament Tuesday and the sophomore hurler didn’t disappoint.
WELSH – Evan LeBlanc and Drew LeJeune combined for a two-hit shutout Tuesday to help lead the Notre Dame Pios to a 7-0 victory over the Welsh Greyhounds in District 5-2A action.
