RAYNE - Funeral services were held on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m. in Gossen Funeral Home Chapel for Patsy Prejean Guidry, 82, who died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at her residence in Rayne,.
Interment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 Mausoleum in Rayne.
Brother Bill Hudson was the celebrant of the Funeral Service.
Survivors include two daughters, Belinda Guidry Dischler and husband Martin Jr. of Rayne, and Tammy Guidry of Rayne; one son, Glenn Guidry of Lafayette; one son-in-law, Timmy Daigle of Rayne; seven grandchildren, Neal Guidry and wife Ashley, Jane Dischler Trahan and husband Joey, Martin “Billy” William Dischler and wife Tessa, Anthony “Tony” Dischler, Todd Daigle and wife Heather, Chris Daigle and wife Katie, and Reggie Daigle and wife Blair; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Efford Joseph “Baday” Guidry; daughter, Cynthia Guidry Daigle; father, Moka Prejean; and mother, Olive Prejean.
Pallbearers were Neal Guidry, Martin “Billy” Dischler, Anthony “Tony” Dischler, Todd Daigle and Chris Daigle, Reggie Daigle.
Honorary pallbearers were Joey Trahan, and Raymond Prejean.
The family requested that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne on Wednesday, Oct. 11, from noon to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
