Margie Benoit Fisette

Rayne--Funeral services for Marjorie Benoit Fisette, 83, of Rayne, will be held on Monday, Oct. 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Rayne. Father Samuel Fontana will officiate. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery No. 2 Mausoleum, Rayne.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 9, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne, with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m.. Visitation will continue on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.

Mrs. Fisette passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 in Rayne.

Mrs. Fisette was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked for many years as a ward clerk for Rayne Branch Hospital, and for Crowley American Legion Hospital. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Gayle Fisette Stelly and husband, Benny of Rayne; sons, Robert James Fisette of Rayne, and Michael John Fisette and wife, Jen of Midland, Texas; brother, Norbert Benoit of Rayne; and grandchildren, Chelsea Fisette Istre and husband, Gervais of Rayne, Joshua Stelly of Rayne, Michael Fisette II, Cayden Fisette and Mason Fisette, all of Midland, Texas.

Preceding Mrs. Fisette in death were her husband, Harold Robert Fisette; parents, Despiler B. Benoit and Emma Guillory Benoit; and brothers, J.D. Benoit and Russell Benoit.
