Linda Mae Crochet Cormier

RAYNE - Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 10:00 am in Gossen Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne, LA for Linda Mae Crochet Cormier, 76, who died Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at her residence in Rayne, LA.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne, LA.

Pastor Gene Lee with First Baptist Church in Rayne, LA will conduct the funeral services.

Survivors include husband, Travis Robert Cormier of Rayne, two daughters, Dana Cormier Thibodeaux and spouse Bret Thibodeaux of Church Point, Peggy Joy Cormier of Rayne, son, Randall Robert Cormier and spouse Roxanna Cormier of Rayne, six grandchildren, Krisinda and spouse Brandt Broussard, Samuel Cormier, Mackenzie and spouse Joshua Fontenot, Timothy and spouse Karlie Cormier, Bria and spouse Jackson Bellard, Sarah Thibodeaux, six great-grandchildren, Aquilas "AJ" Cormier, Eliot Fontenot, Rhen Fontenot, Gus Fontenot, Hayes Broussard, Hunter Thibodeaux, sister, Magolria Sonnier and spouse Dewey Sonnier of Lake Arthur, brother in law, Raymond and spouse Lula Cormier, six sisters in law, Shirley Douga, Louise and spouse Glen Trahan, Norma Cormier, Stella Crochet, Mary Crochet, Carolyn LeGros.

She was preceded in death by infant son, D'andre Cormier, mother, Mary Morvant Ravey Crochet, eight brothers, Clayton Ravey, twins, Rodney and Rollin Crochet, Emile Crochet, Cyril Crochet, Romus Crochet, Herman Crochet, Leroy Crochet, two sisters, Ethel Ravey Guidry, Effie Ravey Trahan, mother in law, Ida Cormier.

Pallbearers will be two grandsons, Samuel Cormier, Timothy Cormier, three grandsons in law, Brandt Broussard, Joshua Fontenot, Jackson Bellard, nephew, Christopher Crochet. Honorary Pallbearers will be five great grandsons, Aquilas Cormier, Hayes Marshall Broussard, Rhen Oliver Fontenot, Gus Abram Fontenot, Weston Hunter Thibodeaux

The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne LA on Thursday October 3, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Friday October 4, 2019 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
