Edward Joseph Senegal Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Edward Joseph Senegal Sr., 63, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Rayne with Rev. Richard Wagner as Celebrant.
Visitation will begin in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel on Friday, April 26, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and will resume on Saturday, at 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow the church service and will be in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Rayne.
Mr. Senegal passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
Mr. Senegal is survived by his wife, Leona C. Senegal of Beaumont, Texas; companion, Joanna Morris of Crowley; children, LaQuinta (Micheal) Fontenot of Crowley, Edward (Kalisia) Senegal Jr. of Rayne, Kizzelyn (Carlton) Senegal of Jennings, Michelle (Troy Sr.) Stelly of Beaumont, Michael Citizen of Rayne; goddaughter (more like a daughter), Antoinetta Cormier of Rayne; step-children, Tracy Morris of Rayne, Godfrey Morris of Crowley and Diane Morris and Monique Morris, both of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Felton Booze, Larry Sinegal and Issac Sinegal, all of Rayne; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Clifton and Lucille Senegal; step-son, Prince Morris; mother-in-law, Willie Mae Morris; and in-laws, Leo and Movella Clark Sr.
