Edward Hoffpauir IV

CROWLEY - Edward Hoffpauir IV passed away on the morning of 14 December 2024 after a brief illness at the age of 46 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, 18 December 2024, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Father Mark Miley officiating.
The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church. A rosary will be led by St. Michael Rosary Group at 9:30 a.m.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Ed was born on 18 June 1978, in Lafayette to Shelley Talen and Edward Hoffpauir III.
He was a graduate of Notre Dame Catholic High School in 1996. He was a lifelong resident of Crowley and will be remembered for his love of animals and wrestling.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Hoffpauir III; his uncle Waldemar Talen Jr.; his paternal grandparents Margie Andrus and Ed Hoffpauir Jr.; and his maternal grandparents, Caroline Dusold and Waldemar T.G. Talen Sr.
He is survived by his mother Shelley Talen Hoffpauir; sister and brother-in-law Sara and Thurston Hahn III; his paternal aunts, Jackie Ducote and Janet Cradeur; and his paternal uncle, Johnny Romero.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Acadiana and the Calcutta House of Lafayette.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley.
