After taking the oath of office for the 2024-2028 term, the primary order of business on the agenda for the Acadia Parish Police Jury Tuesday night was the election of officers. Beau Petitjean, center, of District 5 (Rayne area) was elected president; Paul “Ed” Guidry, left, of District 6 (Church Point area) was elected vice president; and Bryan Borill was appointed to his second four-year term as secretary-treasurer.
