North Avenue G bridge over North Ditch closed

Mayor Tim Monceaux has announced that the North Avenue G Bridge across the North Ditch has been closed and will remain closed for approximately two months, weather permitting.
Monceaux said the bridge was closed Tuesday due to deteriorating conditions. The existing bridge will be removed and replaced with concrete box culverts.
Drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes.
