Mayor Chad Monceaux, left, reads a proclamation designating Friday, April 20, as “Nicholas Wilfred Alfred Day” in Crowley in memory of the Crowley native who was shot and killed exactly one year earlier in Houston, Texas. On stage with the mayor are Alfred’s mother, Jessica Dugar, right, and her son-in-law, Christopher Lewis.
CROWLEY – Jessica Dugar remembers all too well the night she received the phone call that her son, Nicholas Alfred, had been shot and killed in Houston.
