The rides have left town, the events are complete and the music has died down as the 46th annual Rayne Frog Festival is now in the history books.
One person was killed and another was critically injured in a single-vehicle crash just before 7 a.m. Wednesday in rural Acadia Parish.
Police are asking the public for information concerning a missing person.
Eight area law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty were memorialized during solemn services Monday night at First Presbyterian Church here.
Fireman responded to a call at Gatti's in Crowley just before 4 p.m. today.
No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze.
