Special Legion events planned in Rayne

A number of new and entertaining events are being planned by Post 77, American Legion.
On Saturday, Aug. 11, La. Gold and Damon Troy will provide music for dancing between 8 p.m and midnight with a $10 cover charge.
A special night on Wednesday, Aug. 15, the American Legion will provide a free supper. Free beer will be available for one hour (6:30-7:30 p.m.) with the band Louisiana Knights providing music. No cover charge for the special night.
High Performance will return on Saturday, Aug. 25, between 8:30 p.m. and midnight with a $10 cover charge.
NOTE: Food and beverages available for purchase with an expading menu at the Legion Home. Admission is a $10 donation. Children are allowed is allowed in the hall portion of the Legion Home.
Also continuing at the Legion Home is Cadillac and Domino games between 4 p.m. until closing every Thursday.
“Thirsty Thursday” drink specials will also be available from 7 p.m. till.
