Rayne arrests made following lengthly drug investigation

RAYNE - Over the course of several months, Rayne Police Department Narcotic Agents have been investigating the distribution of drug sales within the Rayne city limits.
The following individuals have been arrested as a result of the investigation:
Richard Langner - Distribution of Schedule I (Marijuana);
Wilson Caesar - Distribution of Schedule II (Crack) and Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Drug Free Zone;
Jodi Lopez - Distribution of Schedule IV (Alprazalam) and Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Drug Free Zone;
Jason McClelland - Distribution of Schedule II (Hydrocodone);
Chad Richard - Distribution of Schedule II (Meth);
Kenneth Simon - Distributon of Schedule II (Meth) and Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Drug Free Zone;
Russell Griffin - Distribution of Schedule II (Meth);
Janee Mouton - Distribution of Schedule IV (Suboxone); and
Alton Wheeler - Distribution of Schedule II (Crack), Violation of Controlled Dangerous substance in a school zone.
Also during arrest, officers located three crack rocks in Wheeler’s possession when he was located at Rayne City Court. Alton was also charged with Possession of Schedule II (Crack).
