LAE/AAE ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION HELD
LAE/ AAE was represented during a JBE Roundtable Discussion held Tuesday, July 2, in Lafayette. The 2019 JBE Roundtable Discussion was held at the Lafayette Public Main Branch Library between 3 - 5:30 p.m. with only 24 educators and one paraprofessional invited. Representing the AAE (Acadia Association of Educators) were, from left, Sheryl Alexander (AAE teacher) and Linda T. Abshire (AAE Para), Governor John Bel Edwards and Renita Whitrack, (LAE Organizational Specialist over Acadia Parish) and Gregory Mills, LAE Advocacy Center Specialist. Also in attendance was Marcus Thomas, LAE Organizational Specialist for Lafayette Parish.
