The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help to identify a suspect wanted for theft.
A new and improved version of the original “Grab-n-Go” lunch service provided by the Acadia Parish School Board is in the works.

Rice planting is nearing completion in southwest Louisiana, where most of the state’s rice is grown, and it has begun in northeast Louisiana.
City residents by now should have received or will soon receive their utility bills that include the increase in the sewer user fee approved by the city council at its March meeting.
