Deputies with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating an aggravated burglary which occurred just after midnight on June 21 in the 6100 block of Standard Mill Road.
Chris Simpson, a 40-year employee of the Rayne Housing Authority who has served as its director for the past 34 years, has been awarded the Louisiana Housing Council’s “Extra Mile Award.”
