Ezora J. Proctor has announced her candidacy for the office of mayor of the city of Crowley in the Nov. 6 election.
Her formal announcement follows:
Detectives with the Crowley Police Department are investigating a shooting that left one man injured in the early morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 26.
Superintendent Scott P. Richard wants the ability to seek a second opinion when it comes to certain legal matters of the Acadia Parish School Board.
Billy Joe Hanks, who was featured recently on Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish, was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 8, with the assistance of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team.
