On Saturday, members of the Redemptorist Catholic School eighth grade class of 1992 unearthed a time capsule they had buried more than 27 years ago.
The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office and area firefighters were on scene of a train fire near Crowley Tuesday evening.
The pontoon bridge that crosses Bayou Plaquemine Brule just north of Estherwood has been closed for repairs since mid-May.
