MIRE - Adam and Lydia Pellissier of Rayne, were named honorees during a celebration in observance of the couple’s 70th wedding anniversary.
The Crowley Garden Club’s June Garden of the Month award was presented to Sharon Wilridge, 218 W. 16th St. Wilridge’s garden was alive with color using impatiens, caladiums, dusty miller, petunias, begonias, coleus and purple heart, interspersed with variegated ivy, ferns, elephant ears, variegated airplane plants and azalea shrubs. Making the presentation to Wilridge, left, were Sissy Gall and (not shown) Kathy Sherwood.
