Melise Gossen logged a pair of towering home runs and drove home five runs Monday to help lead the Notre Dame Lady Pios to a 7-2 District 6-2A victory over Sacred Heart at Hensgens Park.
It didn’t take the Iota Lady Bulldogs long to log a pair of District 5-3A victories over Northwest on Monday.
The Crowley Ladies broke out the big sticks Monday in their pivotal District 5-3A showdown with Mamou.
The Iota Bulldogs were expecting to bring home a trophy from Saturday’s Division III boys state powerlifting championships at Rapides Parish Coliseum.
And they did.
LUTCHER – Marcella Gossen was at her best over the weekend for the Notre Dame Lady Pios in their three games at the Lutcher Tournament.
