Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Assumption Church in Mire for Erick S. Mire, Sr., 82 who passed away, Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Camelot Nursing Home in Crowley.  Very Rev. Msgr. Russell Harrington will be officiating the Services.

Church Point, La. –– Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, La. for Joseph Berton “Baton” Briscoe, 73. Mr. Briscoe, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 7:45 P.M. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with entombment following in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Church Point.

Merilyn Faye Credeur
Rayne - Funeral services will be held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. for Merilyn Faye Credeur, 60 who died Thursday, March 4, 2010 in American Legion Hospital.
Interment will be in the Arceneaux Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Allen Credeur, Sr. and daughter, Beatrice Sonnier and husband Rowdy of Rayne, son, Allen "Noochie" Credeur, Jr. of Rayne, daughter, Monica Credeur and husband John of Rayne, son, Joseph "Wa" Credeur of Rayne, 10 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.

Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Our Lady of the Sacred Catholic Church, Church Point for Mrs. Charles Labbe, 55, the former Diana Lynn Thibodeaux. Mrs. Thibodeaux, a native and long time resident of Church Point, died at 6:00 A.M. Monday, March 1 at Opelousas General Hospital; Opelousas, La. Father Gregory Chauvin will conduct the services with interment following in the St. John Cemetery; Lewisburg, La.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2010 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Duson for Mr. Lenis Thibodeaux, 89, who passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 5:15 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.  Officiating for the service will be Father Martin Leonards.
 

Funeral Services will be Monday, March 1, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church in Rayne, La. for Elodie T. Pellissier, 95, who passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 10:27 pm at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.  Officiating the services will be Fr. Clint.
Survivors include Three Daughters, Virginia & Joe Kebodeaux of Iota, Marie & Ricky Davis of Limestone, Tenn., Claudette Morgan of Egan, Three Sons, James & Inez Pellissier of Opelousas, Charles & Heidi Pellissier of Maurice, and Larry Pellissier, Sixteen Grandchildren and Eighteen Great Grandchildren.
