Church Point –– Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point for Petra Danielle Briscoe, 24.
Ms. Briscoe, a life-long resident of Church Point, died just after 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, in an automobile accident near Church Point.
Pastor David DeVillier conducted the services with interment following in the Body of Christ Cemetery near Branch.
Survivors include her father, Mark Briscoe of Church Point; her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Arlene Briscoe and her maternal grandparents, Herbert and Betty Comeaux, all of Church Point; her husband, Gregory McBride of Church Point; two brothers, Thomas and Matthew Briscoe of Church Point; and an aunt, Evelyn Comeaux of Church Point.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Annette Briscoe; and a sister, Kristie Briscoe.
The family requested visiting hours be observed beginning at 12:00 noon on Monday and continuing uninterrupted until the time of the services on Tuesday.
Arrangements were handled by Guidry Funeral Home, Inc., Church Point.
