Funeral services will be held Friday, January 29, 2010, at 2 p.m. in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gregory officiating, for Leroy Gibson, Jr., 43, of Rayne, who died at 9:36 a.m. Sunday, January 24, 2010 at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Burial will follow in the Rayne Protestant Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church form 8 a.m. until time of services.
He is survived by his mother, Eloise Gibson of Rayne; four sons, one brother, Reggie Gibson of Rayne; and two sisters, Mary Gibson and Sherry Gibson, both of Rayne.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Gibson, Sr., and a brother, Rayward Gibson.
Wilturner Funeral Home of Crowley is in charge of funeral arrangements.
