Couple honored during holiday shower

Blanche Monique Boudreaux of Rayne and Matthew John Boudreaux of Waco, Texas were named honorees on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010 during a holiday couples shower and engagement party held at the home of Fred and Caitlin Gossen in Rayne.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Richard and Madelene Boudreaux of Rayne, while the prospective groom is the son of David and Sherrie Boudreaux of Berwick.
Hosting the 7 p.m. social were Caitlin Gossen, Blair Thibodeaux, Amy Curole, Timi Wadleigh, Aimee Boudreaux, Jessica Quebedeaux, Malorie Meche and Brooke LeLeux.
As a special holiday guesture, each guest presented the couple a Christmas ornament, as well as a gift from their registry. Throughout the Gossen home were accents of glittery, whimsical Christmas decorations, adding a perfect touch for a holiday couples shower.
The couple will be married on Friday, June 11, 2010 during a 7 p.m. ceremony at St. Joseph Church in Rayne, followed by a reception at La Grand Hall in Crowley.
